Welcome to Copake, one of the Hudson Valley's best kept secrets! Creekside is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom house nestled just across the street from Copake Lake. Whether you're visiting with friends or family, you'll feel right at home in this clean, comfortable and country-chic space no matter the time of year!
Creekside has two (2) bedrooms on the main floor and one (1) bedroom/common area [to sleep many] located upstairs. There are two (2) bathrooms on the main floor and one (1) upstairs, all with showers. The house offers an open floor plan combining the kitchen, dining and living area with access to a large deck via four sliding doors just off the side.
Across the street you'll have a deck and lake access (see below "Guest access" for more information), Copake Country Club & The Greens restaurant are just a 1-minute walk away, and if you're in the mood for exploring there are various small towns and attractions a short drive away!
Please note: This house is located across the street from Copake Lake; it is not a lakefront property. However, Creekside renters DO have direct lake access via a privately owned lakeside deck just across the road. There is no public beach area on Copake Lake.
Renters receive their own 15'x15' lakeside deck space (half of a 30'x15' deck that is shared with our other rental property), two (2) dedicated kayaks, one (1) canoe, and two (2) paddle boards.
There are (2) docks attached to the deck that are used for Copake Lake Boat Rentals and Copake Country Club boat parking. These docks can be used by renters for swimming and fishing, but are not dedicated to renters; only the deck space is dedicated. Docks are in the water from mid-May until the end of September.
Stays during Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day are three days minimum, Friday to Monday, at the weekend rate. Additional days on the front or back end of the trip are permitted and will be charged the standard rate for that day.
Pets are allowed on a case by case basis and depending on the animal bread and size.
Risk of COVID-19 is taken by the guests and therefore does not alter our cancelation policies.
Please note outdoor amenities such as the exterior waterfront deck, dock, chairs on the pond, golf carts and some outdoor furniture are only available between May 1 and October 31

-Power & Internet Outages:
Outages can happen in this area due to weather or other factors. Because they are out of our control, we do not provide refunds for these interruptions, but we’ll do our best to help you work around them.
-Weather:
Rain, wind, snow and extreme heat and humidity are possible depending on the season. Please plan your travel accordingly, as we cannot refund missed stays due to weather conditions preventing travel.
-Additional Guests & Occupancy Limits:
The listed occupancy applies to your entire stay, not just overnight guests. Any extra guests or events must be approved in writing before arrival. Unapproved gatherings or over-occupancy will result in immediate removal without a refund.

We had a great stay here and the home meet and exceeded our expectations. Thank you again for hosting us!
We had a wonderful stay overall. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. The location had great access to the lake and plenty of food options nearby. There were a couple of disappointments that kept this from being a five star stay. The ice machine wasn't working during our stay, so we had to go out and buy bags of ice ourselves. Also, being July 4th weekend, we planned to use the grill for a holiday cookout, but it wasn't set up. I had to search the basement for the propane tank, carry it upstairs, and connect it myself before we could grill. While neither issue ruined our trip, these amenities should be checked and ready before guests arrive, especially on a major holiday weekend. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return if these maintenance issues were addressed.
We had such a wonderful weekend. The area is beautiful and the lake is just across the street and lovely. We would stay again in a heart beat!
