Charming Copake Falls House

We enjoyed our stay with the main reason we booked this house being it’s very close to our typical cabin we rent annually at Taconic State Park (they sold out) for our family reunion. So close it’s walkable and to the Harlem Valley Rail Trail which was very convenient. However, it was disappointing that the fire pit was unusable because it was so overgrown. We appreciate that after we checked and I notified them about it, they attempted right away to get a landscaper to come the property to clear everything, but it was a holiday weekend so no one ended up coming. The house was clean, cozy, and everything we needed was provided between the kitchen, bathrooms, etc, so ultimately if our issue outside was fixed, we would stay again.

We had a great stay and were so happy to see the property was pet friendly. It was very clean and super charming! There was some confusion around arrival/access to the property as info that was supposed to be available was not. Austin responded in a timely manner and all was good. All around perfect for what we wanted/needed!

Great house in Copake Falls, NY for a long weekend. Super easy to find and my dog, Chloe, loves the backyard space. Hope to return again soon! House provided all bathing products, had basics for cooking (oil and cooking supplies), bring your own charcoal if you want to grill. There’s a charcoal grill in the backyard which was super easy to use. Beds were comfortable and location is convenient yet also secluded for a nice rest in the mountains.
